This car is titled and licensed for street use. It is based on a proven late model Dodge Dakota chassis with a five litre Dodge V-8 engine and automatic transmission. The owner removed the body from a Dodge Dakota and had the frame stretched to fit the body. The wheelbase has been extended to 159 inches to match the original car. It is an absolutely massive car about 20 feet long. It has 17-inch stainless steel wire wheels mounting new wide whitewall radial tires. It is equipped with power windows, air conditioning, and a modern sound system. It has a lift-off convertible top with a special custom headliner on the inside of the top so the top bows do not show. No expense was spared in doing the interior. It was stitched in Italian leather that was specially dyed tangerine to match the original Maharaja Duesenberg interior.
