We've been involved in building a number of fiberglass and metal bodied cars from scratch. Because we usually worked with limited funds, we've been forced to use relatively low cost methods to achieve our goal. With each project we've learned how to go from concept to reality in less time for lower costs. We've found honest, reasonably priced craftsmen we work with.
You can take your project to any of a number of prototype builders of concept cars, top name restoration shops or rod shops, but be prepared to pay them millions and take years. They use $450 CNC designed hose clamps. We use $4 auto parts store hose clamps. As a result, the decimal point in our operation is often a column to the left. However the finished exterior appearance of our cars is top shelf.
We're in it for the passion.
Unlike most shops, we are not in it for the money. As long as we can pay the bills, we're in it for the passion. Consequently, we're only interested in getting involved in projects that appeal to us from a design standpoint. We're NOT speaking about refurbishing your 1967 Mustang or assembling your kit car. There are thousands of qualified restoration and rod shops out there who specialize in that. We don't. We specialize in taking designs from your mind, or our mind, and making them into finished cars. On the right project, we might just deliver the aluminum body and let your chassis builder or shop complete the car.

We are in an era where the top auto restoration shops charge in excess of one million dollars to take an existing car, disassemble it, refurbish it and re-assemble it. We've seen cars built to win the $10,000 Riddler Award at the Detroit Autorama that cost in excess of $2,000,000. Our prices of $500,000 to $600,000 to create an entire hand built car from scratch is a great value, especially n light of the declining US dollar. When compared to the $500,000 to $800,000 cost of a Blancpain wrist watch, our car is a bargain.

It should be clear that the prices we've listed are estimates. They also are base prices, so if you want all the exterior trim gold plated on your car, or if you insist on genuine crocodile interior, expect to pay more. We meet our customers face to face at the outset of the project, determine what it is they want, and secure the agreement in writing to protect all parties. We then take a deposit to begin work on the project. Periodically we supply the customer with written and photographic reports on the progress, and on an as-needed basis, additional payments are made to keep the project moving.
