At the recent 2007 Pebble Beach, CA Concurs d'Elegance, DELAHAYE USA had a booth at the four day RETRO AUTO exhibition. It included a short new video, photos of various projects, and a 1/4 scale clay "clown suit" model of the SULTAN project. Pebble is a fantastic resource to network and discover many exciting new sources and vendors that will be included in the growth of our product line.
Most importantly, we debuted the DELAHAYE USA concept of combining classic French coachbuilt designs of the 1930s with modern V-12 powertrain and accoutrements, delivering truly unique quality bespoke automobiles. The general reaction and acceptance by the upscale Pebble Beach audience was highly positive, especially when we explained to many hard core classic car afficionados that no real Bugattis or Delahayes are harmed during the construction of our vehicles. We plan to have one or more of our cars on display at RETRO AUTO 2008.
After exhibiting at the Abu Dhabi International Auto Show in November of 2006, in November 2007 Terry Cook again traveled to the United Arab Emirates. DELAHAYE USA and DECO RIDES had an exhibit booth at the International Motor Show in Dubai. Much to his surprise, when Terry walked into the lobby of the giant Dubai Convention and Exhibition Center, parked right in the lobby on special display was one of the DECO RIDES Lincoln Zephyr coupes which was owned by a Sheikh!
